The Building Hope Foundation was founded by God showing us the needs of orphans and widows. We are living out what He commands in the Bible by being the hands and feet of Christ. We show our love and support to those in need around us so that they see and experience the Love of Christ and His faithfulness. Please join us.

Make a DonationThe Building Hope Foundation Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to serving the needs of orphans, children in need, and widows. Our current focus is to care for our own right here in America. There is an abundance of need locally with kids in foster care and single moms.
Current Project: Journey Bags
Our current project is providing back backs which we call ‘Journey bags’ to children who have been removed from their homes by the Indiana Child Protective Services. Volunteers and supporting partners help us acquire necessities such as clothing, blankets, toys, and personal items to pack into the journey bags. Each bag is also packed with a bible and then donated to the Child Protective Services. We pray that these critical items and our prayers bless the children and the foster parents in their time of need.
Children entering into Child Protective Services are often taken in due to strenuous circumstances. Many children have experienced traumatic experiences and arrive via a police officer with no other items in their possession then the clothes they are wearing and some only with a diaper. The journey bags provide the necessary items to care for the children in their time of need.
They get excited to have something special of their own. We frequently have children at our office waiting for placement in relative care or licensed foster care. Sometimes the kids are at the office for several hours. Sometimes kids enter care with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. Other times we have young kids placed in foster care in the middle of the night wearing nothing but a diaper and a blanket. Foster parents might have their homes prepared for a certain ages of children, but then they agree to accept placement of a larger sibling group that contains children outside of their initial age group preferences.
